Employers
Landau ensures clients are prepared for the work environment by undertaking non-vocational courses to prepare them with the necessary skills required in the world of work. Employers take part in delivering elements of the courses to ensure skills are developed to meet employers’ requirements.
Landau provides the support to the employer with all risk assessments and health and safety checks being undertaken by qualified staff, prior to placement. The provision of a job coach who understands the duties and requirements of the position guides the individual and assists with the work until a step back can be made and the individual becomes independent.
Employers are asked to provide a 6 week minimum placement, unpaid, as the individuals try to build a work portfolio which will enable them to work in a full time position in the future. Job coaching is provided at no cost to the employer, providing personal one-to-one on the job training including developing satisfactory efficiency levels to meet employer demands. The benefits to the company are numerous as they receive full support from Landau staff prior and during the placement with no expense to the employer.
