"I have been involved with Landau offering placements for about three years now and I have found them to deliver an exceptional level of service to us and their people. The scheme benefits my business as well as it benefits their clients needs to learn in a work place environment. The extra person around the building helps take the pressure off the rest of the team and this frees up my time to concentrate on developing my people rather than getting sucked in to daily tasks. The learner develops their skills by supporting my staff members throughout the day so both parties are satisfied. The program requires little effort to set up as the representatives of Landau are very well organised and arrange all the necessary paperwork, review dates and additional training needed. If required, job coaches are provided to work along side the client to ensure the work is completed up to the correct standard and stop the placement becoming a burden on your time and resources. I have found that every member of Landau’s team most helpful from the organisers to the job coaches and this is a testament to why the scheme works so well. The program is rewarding for us as well as the client’s, knowing we are helping give the experience required for the beneficiary to be able to go out and seek work once the placement is finished."

"I have found the provision of a job coach to be invaluable with my students. They helped with travel training and practical work based training. Each job coach has been most helpful in helping the students to fulfil action plans, needed to ensure achievement of the NVQ. The main benefit is that students are able to access work-based training much earlier, given that they have a job coach. By nature, my students tend to have low confidence and self-esteem, often coupled with poor communication skills. Hence the prospect of a work placement (necessary in order to complete the NVQ) is very daunting. I will certainly continue to refer appropriate students to Landau, given the benefit to my students."
