Getting a job means you meet like-minded people every day. Making friends at work helps you be more confident and enjoy going to work. Here are tips on how to do it:

  • Smile: Makes you more approachable and you’ll hit it off with your colleagues very quickly.
  • Introduce yourself and ask questions.
  • Don’t worry, if you don’t make friends overnight, building relationships take time, find common interests and complementary personality types, don’t feel bad if it doesn’t happen in the first week or two.
