Crowsmill Craft Centre CIC
Crowsmill Craft Centre CIC is a small community-led not-for-profit organisation, working with people who are at the margins of society. This includes adults with mental health issues, physical and learning difficulties. The aim of our work is to support and empower all who attend to overcome any negative feelings and emotions; build confidence and self belief; develop practical skills; and enhance social interactions and tolerance of others.
Practical skills training includes plastering, woodwork, iron forge work, animal welfare, gardening and horticulture, alongside the development crucial social interactive skills. Also available are the opportunities to engage in the sport of archery together with the chance to make a long-bow in woodwork lessons.
For the Landau/Building Better Opportunities (BBO) project, we will be running a series of 12 week courses (3 days each week) at our workshop in Alveley, near Bridgnorth. Numbers will be limited to six per group, to enable individuals to reach their full potential across the different areas of learning. Contact us for the next programme start date.
