FUSE CIC will work with both individuals and a wide range of small businesses and social enterprises to help realise development potential and to create employment and work placement opportunities.
FUSE CIC offers people the chance to develop their own business/self employment idea, to have a training, employment, work placement or volunteering opportunity within a small business or social enterprise.
Individuals come from any walk of life and often face challenges. They may demonstrate a motivation and interest in developing their entrepreneurial and technical skills. They may be returners to work, early retired looking for new avenues, carers, people experiencing life changing circumstances (divorce &/ illness), students and others looking for a new route through life.
FUSE CIC achieves the above through group learning/training/coaching, facilitation, peer to peer support, on line support, signposting and events. Participants learn how to set up &/or grow a business, set personal business goals, market research and planning, digital and social media, legal forms and incorporation, how to be self employed, legal requirements, financial forecasting and bookkeeping, roles and responsibilities of Directors, sourcing finance and recruitment.
Participants not suited to small business opportunities are supported with job search and/or work placements, volunteering or other training or employment.
