Building Better Opportunities Herefordshire was launched by Landau in January 2018 to tackle unemployment and economic inactivity in over 19’s across Herefordshire, a problem that affects over 6,000* people in the area.
Life presents many challenges, through our extensive experience of helping people with complex needs we understand that there are many barriers that prevent people from engaging in meaningful employment.
Landau can support you through a diverse range of accredited and non-accredited training courses, one to one job coaching, work experience placements and CV/Application form writing to inspire people back to work. Leading a partnership of nine organizations Landau, through the BBO Herefordshire partner network, can also help you start your own business, learn new skills like orchard management and customer service, try new industries through volunteering, learn about photography and craft making, build personal confidence to better deal with anxiety and stress and much more to get you ready for the world of work.
Building Better Opportunities Herefordshire is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund, funding supports projects in England that tackle poverty and promote social inclusion.
