Study Programme Future Star – Rowena Clarke

A new awards scheme has been launched highlighting the unsung heroes of communities across Stoke and North Staffordshire. The campaign recognises Charity Champions, Volunteers, Community Groups, NHS Heroes and many more inspiring individuals.

We are delighted to say one of our Study Programme learners – Rowena Clarke has won the ‘Future Star’ award this year! Thank you to Councillor Maxine Clark for nominating Rowena and recognising the hard work she does whether it be fundraising, volunteering, or working as a Learning Disability Expert by Experience Advisor- all while continuing with her education successfully.

Rowena faces personal challenges herself as an individual with autism, Dyspraxia and Hypermobility but as she says in her own words “I never let these things hold me back”.
