Junior HR Business Partner – Maternity Cover (FTC)

Landau Ltd. a charity that has been changing lives and creating futures for over 20 years, has a fantastic vacancy for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Business Partner to cover a period of Maternity leave of circa 10 months. This role will be at the forefront in helping the organisation realise its strategic ambitions. This varied role would suit someone who is passionate about our values, customers and people. We are looking for someone who can drive business performance by working collaboratively with people managers by providing sound HR advice and solutions. You will need to build strong relationship with your stakeholders and support them with embedding their people plans and strategy. You will have the courage to challenge the status quo and the creativity to bring new ways of working to the table. This role reports to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and is an agile role, so you will need to be able to manage your own diary to suit business needs. In this role, you will:

  • Build relationships which enable you to influence and support managers to ensure they take ownership and accountability for the performance and development of their team members
  • Drive and embed succession planning in conjunction with Area Operations. working with the Senior Management Team to spot gaps, trends and resolutions
  • Manage all employee relations casework including performance, sickness and absence management and coach/support people managers to frame these conversations
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their resourcing requirements and co-ordinate recruitment
  • Manage the process of the employee life cycle: induction, probation sign off and exit interviews
  • Collate data and provide insight to support Senior Manager Team with their decision making process
  • Design and deliver development programmes where
  • Maintain a people dashboard to drive the learning needs across all functions, liaise with managers regarding budget allocation and follow up through the agreed People Strategy
  • Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the business, analyse the data and share relevant trends and work with managers on actions
  • Work in collaboration with other teams in the business to enable the delivery of the People Strategy
  • Provide advice to line managers and employees on Company policy and contractual terms including policy updates and
  • Overall accountability for the health and wellbeing agenda across the client group including safeguarding of clients and Ensure the health and wellbeing programmes are relevant, cost effective and engaging

  • Be able to produce & analyse data, spot trends and make recommendations for improvement
  • Preferably be educated to degree standard or equivalent including full CIPD accreditation Level 5
  • Be a confident and engaging personality with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
