Landau is a supported employment and work related training organisation, providing one-to-one, individual support for people with learning disabilities.
We provide tailored information, advice and guidance (IAG) to support individuals, helping them to make informed decisions on their future. Our comprehensive range of training programmes can provide people with the skills they need to fulfil their potential. Ranging from 1 day to 26 week courses, our course materials are designed to meet a wide and diverse range of learning styles. While our young people’s services offers creative opportunities for young people not in employment, education and training (NEET) to reconsider and revise their long-term aims and ambitions.
Through job shops, our experienced team can offer jobseekers valuable interview tips and practical advice to encourage them to find employment.
We also stage workshops/taster days that give an introduction to a range of vocational employment opportunities and support for people considering self-employment.
People accessing personal budgets can get the chance to experience a range of work-related and occupational activities through the day opportunities we provide, while
through supported employment, one-to-one work placements and job coach support are on offer to help those looking to re-enter the jobs market following long-term sickness, unemployment, as well as those who have never been employed.
To help individuals isolated from society, our community programmes offer an ideal way for people to re-engage by getting involved in worthwhile local projects. While we also work alongside employers and other service providers by offering consultancy in areas ranging from awareness training to audit and service evaluation.
