Safe Place Scheme

Landau is now taking part in the Safe Place Scheme in Shropshire. This is a national initiative established by Mencap, and is supported by Telford & Wrekin Council, West Mercia Police and some voluntary organisations.

The scheme is designed to support the needs of adults with Learning Disabilities, but is appropriate for anyone who may become vulnerable while out and about. We will be displaying a window sticker which tells people who may become vulnerable that they can receive support and reassurance at our centre. They will be safe.
